The success of HOPE’s educational program is based on the daily presence of students and requires continuity of instruction and classroom participation. Therefore, parents are expected to ensure that their child attending school daily. Attendance is essential for the academic success of each.
Schedule classroom observation and attend teacher meetings to encourage your child’s efforts in school. Look for ways to volunteer at events and school activities.
Keep the lines of communication open. The school communicates with parents and families through phone calls, notes and letters, and various meetings through the year. Parents can help keep the lines of communication open by notifying the school of changes to contact information and by being responsive to school inquiries.
Read to your scholar at home every night, check over homework and review progress reports. Talk to your scholar about what they are learning!
